(with an Observer/advisor)
Any Clan Mech 55tons or lighter
Light Officer: Custom
Medium Officer: Custom
Heavy Officer: Custom
Sibko may choose between these maps:
- Port Dirac
When given, three officers, who may be either Keshik or Mechwarriors, will arrive at the server appointed for the Trial as Blooding Officer 1, Blooding Officer 2, and Blooding Officer 3.
The Clan Oathmaster will be present and officiating unless needed as Blooding Officer. The Clan Loremaster will also be present as facilitator and witness that the Trial takes place according to Clan Law.
Once all participants have arrived at the proper server, the Sibko will then join the server, and announce which of the three maps they wish to fight on. Host of the server - either the Loremaster or Oathmaster preferably - will select the proper map and conditions.
Sibko will then, once rules have been gone over one last time, call their challenge by Weight Class. Both participants move to within 1000 metres of Nav Centre, and stop. Once both have called Ready, the Oathmaster will confirm, and give permission to engage.
All Officers that are not engaged in the fight should remain crouched. They must remain crouched and radar cold. (If the Sibko fights on a crouched 'Mech, Grand Melee ensues by default.) The Sibko must take down at least one 'Mech in order to pass their Trial of Entry. The Sibko must also be functional at the end of each fight in order to consider the battle successfully won. Further 'Mechs beaten will result in increased rank. Once the Sibko has killed his 1st target, they will hold where they stand & be given a choice to continue or stand down. It is a prerequisite to survive to pass the trial.
-Taking one 'Mech down will earn the Sibko rank as a Mechwarrior 3rd Class.
-Two 'Mechs - Mechwarrior 2nd Class.
-Three 'Mechs - Mechwarrior 1st Class.
After each opponent a stop is called by the Oathmaster, giving the Sibko the chance to stop the Trial. If the Sibko chooses to stop, he keeps any ranks attained.
If the Sibko fails to destroy his opponent at any time, he fails the test, losing any ranks gained in the process of the trial and must retest.
The Sibko may attempt twice in one night to pass the Trial. If they do not pass on either attempt, then they must wait two weeks before they may re-trial, and their skills evaluated by their Sponsor. (this is the ideal practice) Oathmaster and Loremaster may also choose to evaluate the sibko's skills at their discretion prior to the Trial of Entry being re-scheduled. During that two weeks time, if a Sibko has failed their first attempt, additional training is expected to occur and is the sole responsibility of the Sibko's Sponsor.
Scheduling of the Trial of Entry is the responsibility of the Sibko's Sponsor, who will approach either one or both the Oathmaster and Loremaster of the Clan. Sibko Must have their mechs ready for drop by time of trial as they will have at least 24 hrs to prepare.
